Hospice of Michigan Welcomes Wesley Lawton as Grief Support Services Manager

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Feb. 8, 2019) –Hospice of Michigan recently hired Wesley Lawton as grief support services manager for the Macomb Region. In his new role, Lawton will manage the nonprofit’s grief support services, supporting the bereaved through their grief journeys.

As the grief support services manager, Lawton will oversee Hospice of Michigan’s Living On support group, which takes place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.

Lawton received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spring Arbor University and his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. He previously worked at the nonprofit as a grief support intern.

The community is invited to meet Lawton at a Grief Support Open House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Hospice of Michigan office located at 39531 Garfield in Clinton Township. Guests will be able to learn more about the grief programs and support that are available. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
