Wealth of volunteer experience benefits state’s largest not-for-profit hospice
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (August 8, 2019) – Hospice of Michigan (HOM) is pleased to announce Megan Cadle, MPA, CVA as its new volunteer program manager for the West Michigan region, serving the Big Rapids, Grand Rapids, Ludington and Muskegon communities.
In this position, Cadle is responsible for designing training curriculum and coordinating personnel for the organization’s robust volunteer program, which uses the gifts of people from all walks to give comfort and care to patients at end-of-life.
Cadle comes to Hospice of Michigan from the Give Kids The World Village in Orlando, Florida, where she oversaw the volunteer services department. Her experience also includes positions at Make-A-Wish Michigan, the American Red Cross and Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in public and nonprofit administration and Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. She lives in Grand Rapids..
